About Our Firm

Craig Associates, PC was founded in 2005 by attorney Christopher M. Craig, who built the firm with the needs of growing families and businesses in mind. Our practice focuses on adoption, estate planning, and small business law. Currently, Chris Craig is the only American Academy of Adoption Attorneys fellow in Western North Carolina.

Chris received his Juris Doctor from the North Carolina Central University School of Law and is licensed to practice in North Carolina. He holds active membership to the North Carolina Bar Association and the 18th and 28th Judicial District Bars.

With a background in family law, Chris was a leader in the Collaborative Law community in North Carolina. He co-founded the Triad Collaborative Law Association and collablaw.org, in addition to founding and serving as Lead Mediator for Round Table Mediation Centers.

Chris lives in Asheville, North Carolina with his beautiful wife and children, where he enjoys voraciously reading, making furniture, and spending as much time on his bicycle as possible.
